I’m on a mission from God to help people from all walks of life in the Asheville, NC area find their life’s mission and purpose through a relationship with Jesus of Nazareth. I’ll admit that I have a certain affinity for folks a few years on either side of my age (54 years old). I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. I am happily married for the last 30 years to a lovely, gracious and long-suffering woman formerly known as Carol Nordsiek and I’m the father of Katie Schallock and Liz Gilbert as well as grandfather of Braeden and Jade Schallock.

We've been married 9 1/2 years and recently moved to Asheville. We've been part of Legacy church since it's first service November 2009. We currently help in the areas of hospitality and outreach to the community. Our passion is to help other people discover a relationship with Jesus Christ and find support and encouragement from the people around them.

I'm a behind the scenes worker who’s goal is to assist Kevin in his quest to share God’s love with the people of Asheville. I help where needed at the moment and handle all the paperwork required each weekend. I also oversee the presentation team, creating the presentation each week. I have been married to Kevin for 29 years, following him from Pittsburgh to Wisconsin and now North Carolina. We have two daughters, two sons-in-law and two grandchildren.
